Now the makers of upcoming film 'Machine' have unveiled a new version of the much-loved song 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast'.
The trend of recreating the top musical hits of the 1990s seems to be the new in-thing in Bollywood. 2017 began with a groovy rendition of Bombay's 'Humma Humma' in Shaad Ali's OK Jaanu and continued to an interesting song 'Tamma Tamma Again' in Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
The original song starred Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar and played a pivotal role in shaping careers of the two while the new one sees Kiara Advani and Abbas' son Mustafa paying tribute to their favourite stars in the music video. Even though the song is a peppy and upbeat number, it's a little underwhelming as compared to the original one.
Touted to be an action-thriller, Abbas-Mustan's directorial is set to release on March 17.
