With his charming good looks, he has been a heartthrob for women since his modelling days and way into his television career. Samir Soni has left a notable mark on both television and cinema. He began his career with the TV show Samandar on Doordarshan, where his enduring charisma and talent shone through, launching him into the entertainment industry. Since then, he has continuously progressed without looking back. In 1998, he made his debut in the movie China Gate, marking the start of his journey on the silver screen.
In the year 2003, the actor played the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s onscreen son in the family superhit film Baghban, directed by Ravi Chopra. This film created a stir at the box office. After Samir Soni did not get the required recognition in films, he turned to television once again. He played the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s Indian soap opera Parichay – Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka, which earned him the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor, and ITA Award for Best Actor – Drama (Popular) in 2012. After web series and OTT opened up as a new avenue for actors, he made his web series debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Bewafaa Sii Wafaa. Last year, he was also seen in the web series Sarvam Shakti Mayam. In this way, he has made a mark on OTT with his powerful characters.
