During their heated arguments in the Bigg Boss 17 house, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have often mentioned or hinted at divorce, leaving all shocked. However, in a recent interview, Ankita’s mother, Vandana Lokhande shared that while their fights leave her worried, she is sure that the couple will be stronger once they are out of the controversial reality show.
“Both Ankita and Vicky met me with a lot of love and told me how everything is well between them. All these fights and her kicking him or throwing her sandals was in fun. I think post the show they will only emerge stronger as they are getting to spend quality time together,” she told India Today.
Ankita’s mother further explained that all couples face difficulties and therefore a mention of divorce should not be taken seriously. “During fights, one often tells the other how they made a mistake by marrying them. It doesn’t mean they are serious. They have been inside the house for months and often forget they are on camera or wearing mikes. These are normal fights and need not be taken seriously,” she added.
It should be noted that the comment comes a few days after Ankita said she regretted marrying Vicky. The couple got into a heated argument recently over Vicky’s closeness to Mannara Chopra when Ankita confessed she did not like their bonding. This led to a massive fight between the two.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with News18 Showsha, Rinku Dhawan opened up about Ankita and Vicky’s fights. She argued that Vicky tends to dominate people with his overpowering personality and Ankita, too, is an opinionated woman, and therefore, the two end up getting into a war of words very often.
“Vicky has a lot of ego. I am saying this because he told me the same. There are different equations when you are at home. But the platform you are at, it is important to present your personality and opinion. Ankita is a strong woman with a strong voice. Once I told the same to Bigg Boss also. Vicky is very overpowering. He wants to talk and tell others, ‘jo main bol raha hu sab sahi bol raha hu sab mere haan mein haan milao’. Ankita, as his wife in the show, is a disadvantage,” she said.
