Arjun Kapoor Calls Shah Rukh Khan 'The One And Only King' As He Watches Jawan In Theatres

Shah Rukh Khan’s recently released film Jawan is currently the talk of the town. Helmed by Atlee, the movie has been receiving positive response from fans, viewers and critics alike. The film fraternity is also in awe of shah Rukh’s performance along with his co-stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Having said that, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor also heaped praises for the team.

Taking to his Instagram story, Arjun Kapoor shared a glimpse of SRK from the thatre and wrote, “#Jawan @Iamsrk the one and only King… uff too good…”. He also added, “@nayanthara welcome to our side… we ain’t letting go of you now!!!” He also praised Atlee for his direction and wrote, “@atlee47 sir wow just wow (fire emoji) @gaurikhan @poojadadlani.”

Earlier yesterday, film maker SS Rajamouli also congratulated Shah Rukh Khan and the film’s director Atlee for the film. Taking to X, he wrote, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office… What an earth-shattering opening… Congratulations @Atlee_dir for continuing the success streak in the north too, and congrats to the team of #Jawan for the stupendous success…:)”

Reacting to his congratulatory post, Shah Rukh Khan replied, “Thank u so much sir. We are all learning from your creative inputs for cinema. Please see it as and when u can. Then call me to tell me if I can be a mass hero also. Ha ha. Love and regards sir.”

On the release day, after seeing the overwhelming response of his film, Shah Rukh took to his Twitter handle and penned a gratitude note. His note read, “Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan.”

Apart from Shah Rukh, Nayanthara and Vijay, Jawan also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. The film also has extended cameo appearances of Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt. Released on 7 September, the film has already minted over 100 crores at the ticket window.
