Ganesh Chaturthi, a vibrant and auspicious Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, is being celebrated in full swing across the country. It is that time of the year when devotees welcome the idols of Lord Ganpati into their homes. Several Bollywood and television celebrities are also seen celebrating the festival with their family members and loved ones. Palak Tiwari, actress Shweta Tiwari’s daughter, was also spotted by the paparazzi as she brought Lord Ganesha home. In a video shared on Instagram, the rising star showcased her devotion by welcoming Lord Ganesha to her home.
In the clip, Palak Tiwari was captured sitting in a car with her family members. She was seen taking home an idol of Lord Ganesha for worshipping the god and celebrating the religious festival. She greeted the shutterbugs by joining hands in front of them. Talking about her outfit, Palak Tiwari was dressed in ethnic attire. The actress looked elegant in a pink coloured kurta. For the accessories, she donned matching jhumkas, which complemented her overall look.

As soon as the video was shared, social media users flooded the comment section. Many complimented the actress’s traditional look. Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Looking lovely in traditional (with a red heart emoji).” Another commented, “Ganpati Bappa Morya (with joining hands emoji).”
Apart from Palak Tiwari, many other celebrities including Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Arjun Bijlani, Sharad Malhotra, Prince Narula, and Rahul Vaidya also welcomed idols of Lord Ganpati to their houses.
Continuing the yearly tradition, actress Shilpa Shetty also welcomed Lord Ganpati at home with her family. The actress was spotted at an idol store with her husband, Raj Kundra. Dressed in traditional attire featuring a green Anarkali suit with a vibrant dupatta, the actress was seen selecting the Ganesh idol.
Posting pictures from the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration on Instagram, Shipa wrote, Ganpati Bappa Moriya. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to you all. Sukhee Bhava.”
Going by the pictures, it looked like the theme for the celebration was ivory and gold. Shilpa went for an ivory and gold dhoti saree paired with traditional jewellery while Raj Kundra wore a kurta in the same colour combination. The couple’s children Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra – too, wore ivory and gold outfits.
