Popular Marathi TV actress Neha Pendse recently gave an interview in which she talked about her career as an actress so far. She revealed that her debut film was with actor Sunny Deol. She showered praises towards his attitude and professionalism.
Neha Pendse spoke fondly about Sunny Deol with whom she worked as a child artiste when she was 15. She said that she started her career in acting with a TV show on the DD channel and her debut in film came with the movie Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin. She was seen with Sunny Deol in the film as his sister. She said, “My parents had always held a deep appreciation for art and entertainment, and that’s where it all began. During that era, child artists were relatively limited, as many perceived it as taboo to involve children in the entertainment industry.”
She expressed praise and gratitude towards the actor saying, “Sunny Deol is one of my favourites among the many talented artists I’ve worked with. He is a remarkably soft-spoken and respectable man. Despite his commanding presence, he remained humble and grounded, especially toward the people he collaborated with,” she said. Neha further added, “His dedication to his craft is truly commendable, and it’s something I deeply cherish about him.”
Neha Pendse made her TV debut with the 1995 show Captain House, which was broadcast on DD Metro. It was produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. She is also known for the show May I Come In Madam? She played the role of Sanjana Hiteshi, the protagonist’s love interest, in the show. The show was previously broadcast on the channel Life OK.
Neha Pendse is going to reprise her role in the second season of the show, which is set to air on Star Bharat, from September 27 onwards. Talking about the show in a recent interview, she said, “My role is the same as in the last season. The USP of the show is that the writing is brilliant, and so is the execution.”
