Rakul Preet Singh Blushes As Jackky Bhagnani Asks Paps To Call Her 'Bhabhi: 'Aaj Toh Ma'am Nahi...'

Hours after Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani got married, the newlyweds made their first public appearance. The couple stepped out of their wedding venue in Goa on Wednesday to greet paparazzi. In a video that surfaced on social media, Rakul and Jackky were seen holding each other close as they donned their brightest smiles. Dressed in their wedding attires, the duo also greeted paparazzi with folded hands.

When the paparazzi requested the couple to strike a pose, Jackyy made a playful remark, saying, “Aj toh ma’am nahi bologe na? (You won’t call her ‘ma’am’ today, will you?)” subtly suggesting they address her as ‘bhabhi’ (sister-in-law). On being addressed as ‘bhabhi ji,’ Rakul looked at Jackyy with raised eyebrows, and blushed. The video is now going viral on the internet. In the same clip, Rakul can be seen thanking paps for their support through their wedding, which was an intimate affair.

Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding ceremony took place in the afternoon at ITC Grand South Goa. The couple first got married with an Anand Karaj ceremony, honouring Rakul’s Sikh roots. It was followed by the Pheras in the evening to commemorate Jackky’s Sindhi heritage. Several celebrities including Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, Varun Dhawan, his wife Natasha Dalal, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur attended the wedding.

On Wednesday evening, sharing her wedding pictures on her Instagram handle, Rakul wrote, “Mine now and forever” as she also dropped a red-heart emoji.

Meanwhile, amid her wedding festivities, Rakul Preet Singh recently opened up about the importance of having a “right partner”. The actress was speaking to Cosmopolitan India when she explained that “ambitious” women should take their time to find a partner who can not only understand them but is also ready to share responsibilities.
