Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is set to make her small screen debut. If reports are to be believed, Riddhima has signed Netflix’s reality show, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The first two seasons featured Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey and Seema Sajdeh in the lead, giving viewers a look into their professional and personal lives. A new report has now claimed that Riddhima will be joining them for the new season. If that wasn’t enough, Neetu Kapoor is likely to make a cameo as well, the report claimed.
“Fabulous Lives is travelling from Mumbai to Delhi. The creative team realised that they needed to introduce new faces into the mix. All three are well-known celebrities based in Delhi, but connected to Bollywood in one way or the other,” a source told Mid-Day, revealing that Riddhima will be joined by Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha Chawla.
“Shalini Passi is an art and design collector, art advisor and the creative director of Pasco group of companies. She is a long-time friend of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. Kalyani Saha Chawla is the founder and chief executive of a silver luxury home decor brand and consultant for an international luxury label. The three women are Karan’s good friends and were happy to feature in his show. The story will move forward as Maheep, Bhavna, Seema and Neelam meet the trio in Delhi,” the insider added.
The report added that the additions to the cast were made after producer Karan Johar took note of the criticism the first two seasons received and “decided to feature three powerful women entrepreneurs” to the mix. While we wait on more updates about the new season, Karan Johar is busy with his talk show, Koffee With Karan. Into its eighth season, Koffee With Karan premiered last week with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on the show. This week, we will see Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol returning to the show.
