Actor Sunny Deol is known for being a private person, and it surprised his fans when he did a few interviews to promote Gadar 2. This change might have been influenced by private videos from his son Karan Deol’s wedding that were shared online.
Sunny, who doesn’t like social media much, recently talked about his son’s wedding on a TV show called Aap Ki Adalat. He said he was upset with some of his relatives who stayed at their house and posted pictures and videos from the wedding on social media. He shared, “I was very upset with some of my relatives. I scolded a couple of them for recording videos inside the house. I said ‘Aren’t you ashamed?’”
Although Sunny was initially upset, he later discovered that all the attendees were recording videos, and it was impossible for him to stop everyone from doing so. He said, “When the functions were happening, I saw there were videos being recorded everywhere. So, then at the end of the day, I said, ‘Let it be, I can’t do anything about it’,” he said.
Sunny talked about social media and said it’s used by people who don’t care about how their words affect others. He mentioned that with social media, anyone can say anything anonymously, and they often only think about themselves, not how it might hurt someone else.
Sunny’s son, Karan Deol, tied the knot with Drisha Acharya in June. Images and videos from their week-long wedding celebrations flooded social media. Subsequently, Karan posted pictures from various events on his own social media accounts.
Meanwhile, when asked whether he would consider doing Gadar 3 in the future, Sunny Deol confidently said, “Gadar 2 laane ke liye main darr raha tha, Gadar 3 ke liye main taiyar hoon” (I was afraid when I was doing Gadar 2, but now I’m ready to do Gadar 3).
