Varun Tej's Team REACTS To Claims Of Him, Lavanya Tripathi Selling Wedding Film Rights For Rs 8 Cr

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi finally tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in Tuscany, Italy on November 1. When inside pictures from the ceremony began surfacing online, they went viral in no time, leaving fans excited for more pictures from the ethereal wedding. Friends and family, including actors Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, attended their extravagant celebrations. Recent reports hinted that the rights to the newlyweds’ wedding videos have been sold to Netflix for ₹8 crore. Varun Tej’s team has issued a statement regarding this news.

The statement rubbished the rumours and read, “It read, “The ongoing speculations around the OTT rights of Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s wedding are completely baseless and untrue. Requesting everyone not to believe in such rumours and spread them.”

There were rumours about Varun and Lavanya’s wedding film being available on Netflix. The streaming platform had earlier secured the rights to wedding videos of various celebrities, such as Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who tied the knot in June last year. However, the deal is now said to be either cancelled or put on hold.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s pre-wedding festivities kicked off on October 31 with a cocktail bash following which the couple had their Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies on November 1.
