The Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is set to host its ‘Scary Fast’ event on October 30. Despite previous rumors suggesting that Apple plans to introduce a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 chip, a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that the company is unlikely to unveil this new machine at Apple’s upcoming event.
According to a report, it’s unlikely that a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 chip will be unveiled at Apple’s “Scary Fast" Mac event next week.
In the latest edition of his “Power On" newsletter shared over the weekend, Gurman said that supplies of the 13-inch MacBook Pro were running low and indicated that it could be replaced next week.
“The new entry-level MacBook Pro, codenamed J504 remains in the works and features a base version of the M3 chip.Gurman has reported the existence of the device since April," MacRumors reported.
This means that at the upcoming event, Apple is likely to reveal the new iMac and the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro, all equipped with M3-series chips.
According to Gurman, we shouldn’t expect any other updated devices like iPads or AirPods to be unveiled at the event. However, he recently said that Apple will launch a new AirPod Max and AirPods 3 next year and the AirPods Pro in 2025 with new design and major improvements in the audio quality.
Meanwhile, Apple has also confirmed that it will host this ‘Scary Fast’ event online, which means you will be able to catch the live stream of the launch. Apple October 30 launch event is on Monday at 5:00 PM PT which comes to Tuesday, October 31 at 5:30 AM IST for those watching in India.
