New Delhi: With the opposition mounting pressure for a JPC, the Congress has convened a crucial core committee meet on Thursday evening to chalk out a defence strategy in the 2G scam.
The core committee, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and party chief Sonia Gandhi will meet and prepare a full fledged strategy on how to tackle opposition on the 2G spectrum scam.
The parliament reconvenes today amidst the opposition's continuing cries for a joint parliamentary probe into the 2G spectrum scam.
The cabinet is also set to meet post 6 PM today.
