The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has taken on the Delhi Police over the death of a man in Seemapuri area of the national capital. The ruling party has alleged that the man was murdered by policemen in cold blood.
While a judicial inquiry has been ordered into the incident, the police are likely to file an FIR after the 35-year-old man died in a scuffle with policemen. The deceased, Shahnawaz Chaudhary had been out on parole when he got into the scuffle.
AAP leader Ashutosh took to Twitter on Thursday to seek the response of the Delhi Police on not filing an FIR in the case.

The AAP leader further claimed that the deceased was actually “pleading before taken in custody by police that he would be killed”. Ashutosh claimed that this could be heard in a 5-minute video.

Notably, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government and Delhi Police have been at loggerheads since the former came to power in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has even taken up the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
