6. Anupgarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Bikaner (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Anupgarh falls in Ganganagar district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,24,059 voters in the seat, which includes 1,18,471 male voters, and 1,05,588 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Anupgarh recorded a voter turnout of 80.98%. In 2013 the turnout was 81.99%, and in 2008 it was 72.4%.
In 2013, Shimla Bawri of BJP won the seat by a margin of 11,146 votes (7.11%). Shimla Bawri secured 32.61% of the total votes polled.
CPM won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 21,570 votes (16.62%), registering 37.33% of the total votes polled.
