Hyderabad: The autopsy reports of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and four others killed in the chopper crash were handed over to Kurnool district police on Sunday.
The forencic team that conducted post-mortem submitted the reports in a sealed cover. The reports would be handed over to CB (CID) and Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which are probing the Wednesday's crash, Kurnool Superintendent of Police Ch Srikant said.
"We have recieved the reports. As they are sealed (to be handed over to investigating agencies), we don't know the contents," he said.
Post-mortems were conducted on the charred remains of Reddy, his principal secretary P Subramanyam, Chief Security Officer ASC Wesley, Group Pilot S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy in a makeshift facility at the Andhra Pradesh Special Police battalion grounds on Thursday, soon after the bodies were brought from Nallamala forest reange in Kurnoool, where
the chopper crashed.

The post-mortems were conducted by a forensic team led by the Superintendent of Kurnool Government General Hospital Dr Prasad.
Meanwhile, Kurnool District Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena told PTI that an orange coloured equipment recovered near the crash site would be handed over to a high-powered committee headed by R K Tyagi, Chairman and Managing Director of the Pawan Hans Corporation, which is probing the crash involving the Bell-430 helicopter.
"Apart from the orange coloured object about which we are not sure if it is the Emergency Location Transmitter (ELT) and some more pieces of wreckage will be handed over to R K Tyagi, when he visits Kurnool on September 8", the Collector said.
The district administration has already handed over some pieces of the helicopter wreckage, flight operation manuals, cockpit voice recorder and CDs of video and photo clippings of the crash site and the explosives examination report to a four-member DGCA team, which visited the crash site in Kurnool district as part of investigations on September 4.
