19. Dharamjaigarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Raigarh (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Dharamjaigarh falls in Raigarh district and North region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,97,210 voters in the seat, which includes 96,950 male voters, and 1,00,257 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Dharamjaigarh recorded a voter turnout of 85.67%. In 2013 the turnout was 88.05%, and in 2008 it was 79.95%.
In 2013, Laljeet Singh Rathia of INC won the seat by a margin of 19,988 votes (12.63%). Laljeet Singh Rathia secured 50.08% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 3,367 votes (2.56%), registering 39.84% of the total votes polled.
