34. Dhod is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Sikar Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Dhod falls in Sikar district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,50,267 voters in the seat, which includes 1,29,861 male voters, and 1,20,406 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Dhod recorded a voter turnout of 74.9%. In 2013 the turnout was 75.56%, and in 2008 it was 69.4%.
In 2013, Gordhan of BJP won the seat by a margin of 45,071 votes (27.91%). Gordhan secured 54.91% of the total votes polled.
CPM won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 3,145 votes (2.38%), registering 36.26% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Dhod Assembly segment of the Sikar Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
