27. Jhunjhunu is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Jhunjhunu Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Jhunjhunu falls in Jhunjhunu district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,37,827 voters in the seat, which includes 1,23,317 male voters, and 1,14,510 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Jhunjhunu recorded a voter turnout of 69.83%. In 2013 the turnout was 70.57%, and in 2008 it was 63.5%.
In 2013, Brijendra Singh Ola of INC won the seat by a margin of 18,412 votes (12.64%). Brijendra Singh Ola secured 41.84% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,316 votes (8.25%), registering 34.14% of the total votes polled.
