40. Kotputli is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kotputli falls in Jaipur district and Central region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,05,881 voters in the seat, which includes 1,09,071 male voters, and 96,810 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Kotputli recorded a voter turnout of 76.87%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.36%, and in 2008 it was 65.5%.
In 2013, Rajendra Singh Yadav of INC won the seat by a margin of 24,687 votes (17.92%). Rajendra Singh Yadav secured 34.82% of the total votes polled.
