13. Kunkuri is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Raigarh (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kunkuri falls in Jashpur district and North region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,93,905 voters in the seat, which includes 96,134 male voters, and 97,750 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Kunkuri recorded a voter turnout of 77.83%. In 2013 the turnout was 78.76%, and in 2008 it was 73.53%.
In 2013, Rohit Kumar Sai of BJP won the seat by a margin of 28,866 votes (20.39%). Rohit Kumar Sai secured 54.12% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,592 votes (8.14%), registering 48.44% of the total votes polled.
