The expansion of Prithviraj Chavan-led Congress-NCP ministry in Maharashtra has been put off for Friday.
Mumbai: The expansion of Prithviraj Chavan-led Congress-NCP ministry in Maharashtra, which was scheduled for Thursday, has been put off apparently as the names of the new entrants are yet to be finalised.
The expansion of the 11-member Ministry was slated to take place at Raj Bhavan on Thursday evening but has been postponed, official sources said, adding the swearing-in-ceremony is now likely to take place at 11 AM on Friday.
Prithviraj Chavan is in Delhi to finalise the list of Congress ministers. The delay in finalisation of Congress ministers list has led to postponement of the swearing-in ceremony, NCP sources said.
Chavan was sworn as Maharashtra Chief Minister on November 11.
