No time-frame set for GoM to submit report on Telangana: Azad
Sources had told CNN-IBN that while there will be no rethink, the bifurcation process might be slowed down.

New Delhi: The Group of Ministers on Telangana met at Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde's residence on Friday. Sources said that the ministers discussed the basic parameters for bifurcation and no time frame has been set for it to submit its report. A full fledged meeting will take place on October 19.

Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said, "No time-frame for the GoM to submit report on Telangana."

The political stand off over the issue, however, continues with Union HRD Minister Pallam Raju refusing to attend the meetings.

Sources had told CNN-IBN that while there will be no rethink, the bifurcation process might be slowed down.

Meanwhile, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who was on an indefinite hunger strike, was evcited from the site of fast in the capital and was taken to RML Hospital. Sources said that his condition is deteriorating.

YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad following his five-day hunger strike against the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, may not be discharged on Friday, doctors said. "Jagan Mohan Reddy was forcibly administered IV fluids with police help after his admission last night. His health condition is still a bit painful as he held fast for the second time within a short span of time."

"His ketone bodies are still high. Our team of doctors is spending maximum time and trying for his recovery," a doctor from the state-run Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS)said on Thursday.

There is some relief for Seemandhra residents as power employees called off their strike on Friday. However, curfew continues in Vizianagaram.
