Hyderabad: Presidential candidate PA Sangma was on Monday denied entry to the Chanchalguda prison in Hyderabad to meet YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy to seek support for his bid. Chanchalguda prison authorities told Sangma that he could not meet Jagan as it was not the visiting hours.
The prison authorities told Sangma to came again during visiting hours to meet Jagan. Sangma met Jagan's mother and Andhra Pradesh MLA Vijayamma and discussed the Presidential election.
Sangma is confident of winning the President poll against UPA's Presidential nominee Pranab Mukherjee, who is the overwhelming favourite. He had said that he is confident of getting conscience votes.
He also said that he believes that although he may not have the numbers as yet, god is with him and that he will win the election by a miracle.
