188. Sangod is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Kota Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sangod falls in Kota district and Hadoti region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,97,364 voters in the seat, which includes 1,02,351 male voters, and 95,013 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Sangod recorded a voter turnout of 77.28%. In 2013 the turnout was 76.97%, and in 2008 it was 64.5%.
In 2013, Heeralal Nagar of BJP won the seat by a margin of 19,232 votes (14.61%). Heeralal Nagar secured 53.56% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,364 votes (8.87%), registering 49.55% of the total votes polled.
