159. Sehore is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Bhopal Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sehore falls in Sehore district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 1,94,723 voters in the seat, which includes 1,01,322 male voters, and 93,493 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Sehore recorded a voter turnout of 80.72%. In 2013 the turnout was 76.42%, and in 2008 it was 69.73%.

In 2013, Sudesh Rai of IND won the seat by a margin of 1,626 votes (1.14%). Sudesh Rai secured 44.47% of the total votes polled.
