Thane: There is tension in Thane after Shiv Sena activists protested an alleged derogatory comment against late party founder Bal Thackeray on Facebook. The Shiv Sena has registered a complaint with the police about the comment which ostensibly derides Bal Thackeray and his son Uddhav.
A case against unknown persons has been registered under the IT act. Tension gripped Kalyan and Thane on Tuesday night after Shiv Sena workers took to the street demanding action.
Sena worker Vikas Repale urged the police to find out and take action against those who posted the content on the social networking site. "Someone has played mischief by posting certain derogatory remarks about late Shiv Sena supremo on Facebook," Repale stated in his complaint.
