New Delhi: With no end to the turf war between the Delhi government and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia criticised the appointment of Joint Commissioner MK Meena as the head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. Sisodia has alleged a conspiracy behind the move and questioned the hurry to appoint Meena.
Sisodia said, "What is the hurry behind constituting a post of Joint Commissioner in ACB? What is the conspiracy behind posting one's favourite man and asking him to join in the night itself?"

Jung appointed Joint Commissioner MK Meena as the Chief of the ACB which was till now headed by SS Yadav. Meena is currently serving as Joint Commissioner of New Delhi range and the LG's order said he has been given additional charge of ACB.
Sisodia alleged that Meena had tried to "trap" him by trying to make suicide of a farmer in rally in Jantar Mantar in April as a murder.
"One should remember that this is the same officer who had termed Gajendra Singh's suicide as murder and conspired to frame me by writing a fake script," Sisodia said.

Aam Aadmi Party also condemned the Lt Governor's move to appoint Meena as new ACB chief.
Senior party leader Ashutosh questioned the move by saying "When L-G himself is in dock in CNG case he has appointed joint chief of ACB. This is brazen attempt to save himself from investigation."
Claiming that the move was a contempt of court, he tweeted, "L-G's appointment is fit case of contempt of court. Delhi HC categorically said ACB is under Delhi government and not under L-G. L-G cant appoint anyone (sic)."
The ACB on Saturday had decided to "reinvestigate" the alleged 2002 CNG fitness scam of Rs 100 crore in which three top officials of Sheila Dikshit government were under scanner.
