153. Udaipur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Udaipur (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Udaipur falls in Udaipur district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 2,36,471 voters in the seat, which includes 1,19,565 male voters, and 1,16,906 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Udaipur recorded a voter turnout of 66.32%. In 2013 the turnout was 69.9%, and in 2008 it was 57.5%.
In 2013, Gulab Chand Kataria of BJP won the seat by a margin of 24,608 votes (17.63%). Gulab Chand Kataria secured 56.2% of the total votes polled.
