Was shocked to see Sonia Gandhi in the well of the Lok Sabha, says Sumitra Mahajan
The Lok Sabha Speaker said, "I always try to control my anger but Congress members were using unparliamentary language in the House."

New Delhi: Just days after the Monsoon session of Parliament was adjourned sine die, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said that she was shocked to see Congress President Sonia Gandhi in the well of the House.

In an exclusive interview to Network18, Mahajan said, "Sonia Gandhi coming to the well of the House was surprising. I did not understand why she came into the well because so much of ruckus was on. And they were also saying something about others. The words written on the placard were also not good. All this is on, I just do not know who is right and who is wrong."

She added, "I always try to control my anger but Congress members were using unparliamentary language in the House."

Sonia stormed into the well of the House along with other Congress MPs following a remark against her by a Bharatiya Janata Party member. All hell broke loose when a BJP member made certain remark against Sonia in the context of black money when leader of Congress Mallikarjun Kharge was speaking on the Lalit Modi controversy.

Incensed by the remark, the Congress president was heard saying, "kya bola (what did he say)?" While protesting, she addressed Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and said, "What is this?"

In an unusual move, she rushed into the Well and was followed by her party colleagues.

What's your reaction?
