On the occasion of Pongal and Sankranti festivals, actor Prabhas has dropped details about his upcoming romantic-horror film, The Raja Saab. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Prabhas shared the first look poster, featuring himself in a black shirt and vibrant dhoti, walking with a smile on an empty street as fireworks light up the background. The film, directed by Maruthi Dasari and produced under the People Media Factory banner with TG Vishwa Prasad as the producer and Vivek Kuchibotla as the co-producer, will see Prabhas portraying the role of The Raja Saab. Thaman S is on board as the composer, and the movie is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, as reported by Variety.

Soon after the poster dropped, many noticed that Prabhas’ name on the poster had an extra S. Many speculated that the superstar may have changed the spelling of his name keeping in mind numerology. But, perhaps, that’s not the case. Entertainment portal Aakashavaani tweeted, “Just got the confirmation from the team. There is no change in name. It’s a printing mistake on the poster. Instead of ‘Prabhas’s #RajaSaab, by mistake, the name got printed as Prabhass on the poster.”
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad said, “We are thrilled to have Prabhas on board for our upcoming romantic horror entertainer ‘The Raja Saab.’ He’s truly a pan-India star who’s loved by audiences for his brilliant range as an actor and we truly believe he’s best suited for the role. Audiences can expect to see him in a massy and vintage look that they have long yearned for. With Maruthi’s filmmaking brilliance, we are truly looking forward to beginning this journey.”
Prabhas will soon be in the film Kalki 2898 AD with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. Originally set for January 12, the film will now be released on May 9. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani also play important roles in the movie.
