New Delhi: Unveiled last week in India, Asus has finally launched its selfie-focused smartphone - the ZenFone Selfie - in India. Priced at Rs 15,999, the phone is targeted at selfie lovers and features a 13 megapixel front camera with a dual-LED flash.
Look-wise, it dons the same suit as the ZenFone 2. In addition to regular colours, the ZenFone 2 Selfie will also come in Pink and Blue colour options.
The rear also has a 13 megapixel camera that features an f/2.0 aperture lens and auto-focus technology. The phone’s camera app includes photo-enhancement tools and a selfie panorama mode with up to 140-degree field of view.
The Zenfone Selfie sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, which the company claims offers resistance like Sapphire glass. It is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. Consumers have an option to choose from 2 GB or 3 GB RAM.
The dual-SIM (4G + 4G) Asus ZenFone Selfie will come in two variants - 16 GB and 32 GB, with a microSD card slot, which the company can support a card of up to 128 GB.
