The recent Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona saw a host of Tech experts from around the globe attend the event. Topping the list was Google’s Indian born CEO Sundar Pichai. Pichai was there along with his team from Google to attend the event.
Apart from the MWC 2017, the Google CEO took a visit to the La Masia, the mecca of FC Barcelona, responsible for creating players like Lionel Messi, Xavi, Carles Puyol, Andrés Iniesta, Pique and many more.
On his visit there, the Google CEO was shown around by the current president of FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu. He also met the FC Barcelona team and saw the rich history of the club in its museums and trophy collection.

Sundar Pichai meets Luis Suarez. Suarez thinks Pichai is a Real Madrid fan, FC Barcelona’s biggest rival. His doubt is cleared when Bartomeu confirms that Pichai is a long time FC Barcelona fan.
Pichai meets Ter Stegen, the goalkeeper of FC Barcelona. He complimented Ter Stegen on his performance in the last game against Atletico Madrid.
The Google CEO also met FC Barcelona’s manager, Luis Enrique. He mentioned how he has seen Enrique since the time he was a player in the club.
FC Barcelona gifts a team jersey to Pichai with his initials ‘Sundar’ on it.
Pichai met Gerard Pique and applauded his last save in the game against Atletico.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai met Lionel Messi, one of the biggest names in the football world and mentioned that his favourite goals by Messi were against Bayern Munich in the Champions League 2 years ago.
In the clip released by FC Barcelona, Sundar Pichai visits the FC Barcelona ground, dressing rooms and experiences the entire ecosphere of FC Barcelona. Judging from the smile that he carries throughout the visit, it was definitely a fan moment for the Google CEO.
He even got an FC Barcelona team jersey for ‘Google’ towards the end of the visit. While leaving, he tells Bartomeu that he would visit again and to keep Messi in the team.
