New Delhi: HTC, which unveiled its new flagship smartphone - the HTC 10 - to the world last month, has finally introduced the phone in India.
Priced at Rs 52,990, the new HTC 10 will go on sale in India from June. It will be available in the country in two colours - Carbon Grey and Topaz Gold.
Talking about the specifications, the HTC 10 comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass atop, 12 megapixel (HTC UltraPixel) rear camera with Laser Autofocus and Optical Image Stabilisation, 5 MP front camera, and runs Android 6-based HTC Sense.
Packed with a 3000 mAh battery, the HTC 10 supports Quick Charge 3.0. The phone, therefore, is said to be half-charged in 30 minutes.
At its heart is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset couple with 4 GB of RAM. The phone has an internal storage space of 32 GB. It also supports a microSD card of up to 2 TB.
According to the company, it took them 12 months to finalise the design of the HTC 10.
Besides the new flagship, the company announced the launch of other HTC devices including the HTC One X9, HTC Desire 628, HTC Desire 830, HTC Desire 630 and HTC Desire 820, at the HTC 10 India launch event.
