Leaked video reveals Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with 23MP camera, fingerprint sensor ahead of launch
The new Xperia Z5 lineup will be the first Sony Xperia models to come with fingerprint sensors.

New Delhi: Prior to the official launch, a new video showing the upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has surfaced on the web.

Sony is expected to unveil a new range of its flagship Xperia smartphones, including the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, and Xperia Z5 Premium at the upcoming IFA 2015 trade show.

The 3-minute video shows the Olivier Terme, Sony Mobile France Marketing Director and a journalist from Clubic.com giving an overview of the new Xperia handsets.

It shows off the Chrome-coloured Xperia Z5 Premium sporting a 5.5-inch 4K display and 23 megapixel rear camera capable of 5x Clear Image Zoom with fastest autofocus at 30 milliseconds.

The new Xperia Z5 lineup will be the first Sony Xperia models to come with fingerprint sensors, Xperia blog notes.

Sony has further improved the camera software to allow users to take better pictures. It also lets you select the resolution of your pictures to 8MP (16:9), 20MP (16:9) or 23MP (4:3).

The new Xperia Z5 phones will feature capless microUSB ports and will be water and dust resistant. The will further offer two-day battery backup.

The IFA 2015 is a trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. It will kick start from September 4-9 in Berlin.
