LG showcased the LG G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona this year. And withing a couple of months the company is planning to launch the device in India by the end of this month. LG G6 is the successor of the last year's modular phone LG the G5.
According to company sources, LG India is planning to launch the LG G6 in India in the last week of April 2017. The device launch timing might just be right as Samsung is also all set to launch their next flagship phone the S8 and S8+ in India on April 19. LG might price the phone competitively as well and is expected to launch for Rs 49,999 in India.
Both these devices pose a solid competition to each other. Samsung has always had an upper hand in the premium handset market in India over LG, but last years Note 7 fiasco might make consumers think twice and opt for the LG G6 over the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The LG G6 weighs 163 grams and has dimensions of 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm. The device sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The back panel of the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on it.
LG G6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is powered y Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor backed by 4GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S8 come with the latest Qualcomm processor, but in India, Samsung will be pushing the phone with its own Exynos processor. This might be a deterrent for people who trust Qualcomm processors on their devices over others.
The LG G6 also comes with a Dual 13 MP (f/1.8, OIS, 3-axis, phase detection AF) + 13 MP (f/2.4, no AF), dual-LED flash rear camera and a 5 MP, f/2.2, 1080p front camera for selfies and video calling.
