OnePlus 3T Black Variant May Launch in India Tonight
OnePlus 3T black colour variant will be launched sans the Colette engraving in India.

OnePlus enthusiasts who have been waiting for the release of OnePlus 3T Colette Black edition in India can rejoice. The company has hinted at launching a Black coloured variant of the massively-popular OnePlus 3T Black in a tweet.

A tweet posted on Wednesday (March 22) by OnePlus India handle indicated at a 10-hour timeline. Hence, an announcement of the Black OnePlus 3T can be expected at around 9pm IST. The new teaser also indicates that OnePlus 3T black colour variant will be launched sans the Colette engraving in India.

OnePlus 3T Colette black was launched last week and the limited edition smartphone was sadly not the one, which you can choose when you place an order through the OnePlus website. In terms of looks, the limited edition OnePlus 3T is all-black and comes with an engraved Colette logo on the rear to mark the brand's 20th anniversary.

Apart from the colour, OnePlus 3T Colette edition is identical to its Gunmetal and Soft Gold siblings in terms of specifications.

In terms of specifications, when compared to the older OnePlus 3 (64GB) which costs Rs 27,999, the new OnePlus 3T packs in a lot for just Rs 2,000 more. While the dimensions and looks are same, the new variant offers a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

It is powered by a newer 64-bit 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 6GB RAM and UFS 2.0 internal storage (64GB or 128GB).

There is a 16MP rear camera featuring a Sony IMX 298 sensor with Sapphire glass protection for the lens. The front camera has been improved from 8MP to 16MP.

On the battery front, the new model offers a bigger 3,400mAh battery and also supports Dash Charge. The company claims one-day battery life from 30 minutes of charge. It also has a USB Type-C port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is a dual SIM phone and doesn’t support microSD cards.
