The GTA 6 trailer has confirmed several leaks about the open-world game. The company has further revealed that the game is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S in 2025. Unfortunately, there’s no information about whether or when the game will be available on PC. The trailer has already received more than five million likes on YouTube.
The GTA 6 trailer unveils Lucia, its first female protagonist. The trailer kicks off with Lucia in a prison setting, and as it progresses, Lucia and her boyfriend are seen pulling off Bonnie and Clyde-style heists in Vice City.
Rockstar Games, in a statement about GTA 6, shared that the game takes players to the state of Leonida. This region includes the vibrant, neon-lit streets of Vice City and beyond, promising the most extensive and immersive evolution in the Grand Theft Auto series to date.
“Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet," Rockstar says.
The trailer shows people racing cars, people partying on boats and a man pulling an alligator out of a swimming pool. Originally developed in Dundee in 1997 by DMA Design, later known as Rockstar, GTA has been as critically and commercially successful as it has been controversial.
