Samsung is rumoured to host another Unpacked event in April where the company might launch new Samsung PCs. The South Korean tech giant hosted the second Galaxy ‘Awesome’ Unpacked event earlier this week, where it launched Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A72 smartphones. The first Galaxy Unpacked event that took place earlier this year saw the arrival of the Galaxy S-series and more. Moreover, Samsung is rumoured to launch the Galaxy S21 FE at the fourth Unpacked event, “tentatively” on August 19.
According to an alleged mini-roadmap shared by tipster Evan Blass on Voice, the South Korean tech giant might launch more products between the third and fourth Unpacked events. Samsung is expected to launch the ‘Lite’ version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 in June. The company began introducing this line of toned-down tablets with the Galaxy Tab S5e and followed it up with last year’s Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
Blass adds that Samsung might launch the successor of Galaxy A21 (first launched in April 2020), dubbed as Galaxy A22, in July 2021. The 5G variant of the phone may also launch alongside the 4G Galaxy A22. “We’re also expecting yet another phone in the same lineup, which is not mentioned on the roadmap: the Galaxy A82 5G with (likely) dual-use camera module,” the tipster claimed.
Instead of launching a new Galaxy Note device, Samsung is rumoured to unveil the ‘fan edition’ of Samsung Galaxy S21 during the fourth Unpacked event of this year in August. The event may take place on August 19, the tipster adds. Recently, Samsung Mobile Communications co-CEO, DJ Koh revealed that the Galaxy Note series would not be discontinued. The executive also confirmed that the premium smartphone series will not be refreshed this year. Earlier in February, another report had claimed that the company is working on the ‘fan edition’ of Galaxy Note 20. The alleged Galaxy Note 20 FE was slated to launch at the end of this year.
