Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 16th season of the quiz-based reality TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati. One of the upcoming episodes will feature three gold medalists from the Paris 2024 Paralympics: Avani Lekhara, Navdeep Singh, and Sumit Antil. Big B, known for his updates on his X (formerly Twitter) account, shared a post dedicated to the three Paralympic medalists.
On Sunday, Sr. Bachchan posted a few candid pictures from KBC 16’s set featuring the three Paralympic medalists. The first two photos were of the javelin throwers Sumit Antil and Navdeep Singh. Meanwhile, in the last picture, the show’s host was seen bringing in Avani Lekhara, who won a gold medal in the Women’s 10m air rifle shooting. Sharing the pictures, the 81-year-old superstar penned a caption in Hindi, which translates to “T 5148 – Chest swells with pride, India has won the gold medal! In front of the three winners of the Paralympics, our good fortune and pride! (sic).”

On the other hand, Sony TV also dropped a promo for the episode, which is scheduled to air on October 4. At the beginning of the video, Amitabh Bachchan is seen welcoming the Paralympic medalists on the stage. Later, javelin thrower Navdeep Singh shares his story, mentioning how he was mocked by people due to his dwarfism. The channel posted the video on their social media channels with the caption, “Zindagi ke harr sawal ka jawab de kar, Bharat mein vijay dhwaj lehrane walon ka KBC par hoga dil se swagat!”
Amitabh Bachchan is one of those stars who often shares posts on his social media accounts to celebrate the country’s achievements. So, when the Indian chess team made history by winning the 45th Chess Olympiad, the legendary actor took time out to congratulate them on their remarkable achievement. He expressed his joy and pride on Indian team’s win against Slovenia and shared a note in Hindi, which translates to “India’s incredible victory at the Chess Olympiad!!! Chess players, the whole of India is grateful. Our chests swell with pride as they hoist the Tricolour (sic).”
At 81, the acclaimed Bollywood actor shows no signs of slowing down. Big B was most recently seen in Kalki 2898 AD, where he enthralled the audience with his portrayal of Ashwatthama. At present, he has Section 84, Vettaiyan, in the pipeline.
