Hannah and Dave Rowett were walking their labradors through Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire when she eerily felt that they “weren’t alone". The couple was at the park at 6.30 am for their early morning walk. Acting on her instincts, Hannah pulled out her camera and captured a faint smokey figure that crossed the path ahead of her. The 52-year-old quickly showed this video to Dave who seemed shocked, despite his scepticism about ghosts. It is interesting to note that Clumber Park is believed to be haunted by the ghost of ‘Grey Lady’ who appears in a grey clock.

After returning home, Hannah shared this video on Facebook and wrote, “It seems we weren’t alone on our early morning walk in Clumber today!" The video shows that the park was still dark in the early winter morning. The path in front of Hannah was lighted up with her camera’s flashlight. If one pays attention, then one can see an animal-like figure, as if made of smoke, passing across the path before disappearing into the bushes.

Hannah’s Facebook post went viral and created a stir amongst locals, since the video was posted on December 7, 2022. Commenting on it, a Facebook user wrote, “Honestly can’t get over that! Amazing to capture that on film!" Another person wrote, “There are a couple of dog graves in clumber..maybe their spirits still roaming around the place they loved."

Many people speculated if the ghost was just a shape caused by smoke. However, the Rowetts dismissed this theory as they do not smoke and nothing was burning in the area at the time. While speaking to the New York Post, Hannah described what she saw in the video and said, “It’s quite demonic in the way it’s crawling and has long limbs. It never changes its form, and if it was smoke it would change."

Dave said that the video made him somewhat believe in the supernatural. He told the New York Times, “I’ve always been really sceptical, but literally every hair from my feet to my head stood on end. I asked her to show me again. I loved it."

He added, that he was more excited than scared by their ghost encounter and said, “I wasn’t scared, I was just glad to see something because I’ve always said that I’d need to before I believe stuff like that. This makes me believe there is something."
