Noida Man's Reaction to 4BHK Flat Worth Rs 15 Crore Goes Viral, Internet Reacts

High-rise flats come at the cost of the skies, and one man learned this the hard way. An engineer from Delhi NCR is making waves online after sharing his disheartening experience of apartment hunting in Noida. Kashish Chhibber, known as “Witty Engineer” on Instagram, struck a chord with millions when he showcased under-construction apartments priced at Rs. 15 crore.

In a viral social media post, Mr. Chhibber expressed his disbelief that no amount of job switching, trading, or investing would likely enable him to buy a home in this market. Taking his followers on a virtual tour of Noida’s Sector 124, he revealed that a 4BHK apartment at the upcoming ATS Knightsbridge project costs Rs. 15 crore, while a 6BHK goes for Rs. 25 crore.

“I’m left wondering who can afford these apartments. What kind of jobs do they have?” he pondered in Hindi. “No matter how many jobs I switch, how much I trade or invest, will I ever be able to afford a 4BHK here?”

The video quickly went viral, sparking a range of reactions. One user commented, “Brother, it was fine if you were upset, but now you have forced us to get upset too.” Another remarked, “Inflated prices, fooling eager buyers on the name of FOMO to buy other flats even low cost flats on higher rates and that’s happening. Youth should stop buying these houses for just one year and all the prices will come to half in few months.”

A third suggested, “2 crore land. 3 crore enough for building a bungalow. Live like a king. Mostly few people buy these flats just for investment they don’t live either any one of these and other flats get rented.”

Meanwhile, ATS’s website describes the ATS Knightsbridge project as an uber-luxurious development at the cusp of Delhi and Noida, offering amenities like a swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and an indoor gym.
