The Silicon Valley Of India has always been in the limelight, thanks to the multiple ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moments that people share on social media. While some of them are impressive and surprising, a few are also hilarious and bizarre at the same time. One such ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment was recently shared by a woman on X (formerly Twitter). She revealed how her Rapido driver turned out to be a corporate manager in a reputed organisation. The story comes up at a time when Bangaloreans talk about facing financial challenges amid rising costs and lesser pay. Well, it was a real-life Christmas miracle for a user, named Shruti, who found out that her Rapido driver was a corporate manager in one of the big companies.

Corporate Manager becomes Rapido driver
In her post, Shruti talked about her ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment. She shared that it was during a regular Rapido ride that she got to know that her driver was a corporate manager in one of the big companies.
She further added that the driver likes to help people reach their destinations in reasonable amounts. However, Shruti refrained from revealing any detail about the man, to seemingly respect his privacy concerns. “In my peak Bangalore moment today, the Rapido guy turned out to be a corporate manager in one of the big companies, who likes to help people reach their destination in reasonable amounts. I repeat anything is possible in Bangalore,” she wrote.
While social media users thronged to the comments section and reacted to the post, Rapido’s official X handle also commented on the post. “Hi Shruti, we are grateful for your kind words towards our captain. After reading your post, we are really pleased and we hope your upcoming rides with us will be delightful,” it wrote.
Internet reacts to Rapido driver’s story
People have declared it a “peak Bengaluru moment.”
A person wrote, “Except good roads, good traffic, good public infrastructure and happy taxi drivers”.
Another added, “Yu don’t need LinkedIn anymore”.
“It’s absurd though that ride-sharing via cars is not allowed+possible in Bangalore,” read a comment.
Notably, this is not the first time that such an incident has come to light. Earlier this year, another Bangalorean shared an interesting experience after he reserved a Rapido ride for work. The ride turned out to be more amusing after the Rapido captain pulled up on a Royal Enfield Hunter, further revealing that he is a DevOps engineer.
