Some people are born with such talent and skill, which ensures their unique identity among millions in the world. Just like how this artist from Uttar Pradesh is so skilful that it is hard to differentiate his artwork from a real photograph.
The artist in question is Govind Pratap Pathak, who is a resident of Barohia village, Maharajganj district, Uttar Pradesh. According to Local18, his speciality is taking a photograph on paper, all with his hands. Thanks to his incredible talent, he is a popular figure among the locals of the place.
Talking to Local18, Govind revealed that his mother was an excellent painter and he learned the art with her. Speaking further he added that since a very young age, he showed interest in painting, which he has now turned into his professional career.
According to Govind, his family wanted him to study but he was weak compared to others. However, no one was his match when it came to art. He completed his intermediate in Maharajganj and moved to Faizabad to pursue his Bachelor’s degree and also did the Bombay Art course.
Since he was in college, Govind started to earn recognition for his work through numerous awards and accolades. However, because of his family’s love and to always stay close to his mother, he decided to stay back instead of leaving them for glory.
As per more information by Local18, he has worked as a teacher in a lot of schools. He encouraged the students to pursue art and taught them how to paint. While he was studying, he painted a picture of the late Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi and sent it to him. As a response and appreciation, the former PM sent Govind a photo of himself and a letter, bearing his signature. The painter has also gifted an artwork to the former governor of UP, Ram Naik.
