If you set out on this journey on foot, you will have to walk continuously for 4,492 hours. Without breaks, the time accumulates to 187 days. If you are walking 8 hours a day, it will take 562 days to complete. At this time span, if you wish, you can conquer the world’s highest peak Mount Everest 13 times and return.
Food, drink, and rest are other necessities that are required by an individual to complete this journey. This route passes through conflicted countries like South Sudan and Syria, which are under war. You will need a visa to visit many countries which you could cover on foot. Even if you overcome these, natural obstacles will be ready to welcome you. The scorching heat of the Sahara Desert, the snow of Siberia, and the malaria mosquitoes of Africa will make your journey a true adventure. You will need to carry a lot of shoes as they will wear out quickly. You cannot use Google Maps for this route. A traveller must have strong survival skills and good immunity for the body to sustain the changing temperatures.
