Video Of Dolly Chaiwala Meeting Delhi’s Popular Vada Pav Girl Is Trending, Obviously

Chandrika Dixit, Delhi’s popular Vada Pav girl, recently met Sunil Patel aka Nagpur’s famous Dolly Chaiwala. Despite owning modest yet thriving roadside stalls, both have garnered internet fame. The duo who own roadside stalls are now internet sensations. They met when Sunil Patel came to Delhi.

In the video, Patel says that both of them are self-made entrepreneurs. He elaborated that both of them stay up on their feet all day to serve customers. Sunil Patel added they don’t think any task is menial and move ahead in life solely based on hard work. Chandrika Dixit gave Patel a flower bouquet and said that she seeks much inspiration from Patel and called him her role model. She said she came running to meet him, once she found out that Patel was in Delhi.

The duo ended the video with a fist bump. While sharing this video on Instagram, Dolly Chaiwala wrote, “Finally Meet with Viral Vada Pao Di. She is a very hardworking person. Please don’t hate and trolling. Best wishes for the future Di.” This clip has so far gathered over 10 lakh likes in just two days. Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “One crossover of 2024 we didn’t expect.” Another person wrote, “‘Mainnat’ is the keyword (‘Hard work’ is the keyword).”

Chandrika Dixit, who is from Indore, started her Vada Pav stall after working at Haldiram’s for four years. With support from her husband and mother-in-law, Chandrika Dixit manages a Vada Pav food stall near Keshav Mahavidyalaya in Pitampura, Delhi. A plate of Vada Pav costs Rs 50 at her stall. In a short span, Dixit has amassed over two lakh followers on Instagram and one lakh subscribers on YouTube, showcasing her growing popularity and influence in the digital sphere.

On the other hand, Sunil Patil became an internet sensation for his extravagant style of making and serving chai. He sports elaborate outfits and hairstyles. He has over 20 lakh followers on Instagram. Patil sets up his tea stall near the old VCA stadium in Nagpur. In February, he made national headlines after he was featured in a video alongside Bill Gates.

After this video went viral, Patel told the media that at the time of the shooting, he did not know who Bill Gates was. He told ANI, “I did not know who he was. I thought that he was some guy from a foreign country so I should serve him tea. The next day, when I came back to Nagpur, I realised who I served tea to.”
