While people abroad eat less salt and spices and avoid spicy foods, Indians like this food a lot. However, people from abroad often try such foods. One such video is going viral on social media, in which a foreigner is not only eating golgappas but also tasting aloo chaat and mango shakes. The name of this woman, who calls herself a real-life Barbie, is Dasha Gartman, who looks like she is from England or the US. But in reality, she is at home in Bali, Indonesia.
In this viral video, Dasha can be seen having a lot of Indian food items in front of her. On one side, there are golgappas, on the other side, there is aloo tikki chat and mango shake. Dasha shows the golgappa towards the camera and then tries to put it in the glass. But she immediately knows what she has to do next.
She pours the sour water from the glass into the golgappa and takes it directly into her mouth. Dasha apparently liked the taste of golgappa. After that, she takes the aloo tikki chat and then she starts drinking a mango shake. More than 17 lakh people have seen this video of her. At the same time, thousands of people have liked and shared it. Moreover, hundreds of people have commented on Dasha’s video. People are urging her to try different foods.
Recently, a video doing rounds online showcases a makeshift Pani Puri stall set up outside The Curry Corner, an Indian restaurant located in Minneapolis, Minnesota
In the video, the person manning the stall enthusiastically invites passersby to try pani puri. As intrigued individuals stop by, he proudly introduces the dish. He also informs people that it is an Indian street food. The first person who stops by to try Pani puris, even asks if he has to eat the whole puri in just one go. He tries it and calls it “very refreshing and delicious.”
Some people can also be seen heading straight to the Indian restaurant in the backdrop, immediately after trying one pani puri. “They were left SPEECHLESS. Come by Curry Corner in Minneapolis for Dine in or Take out,” read the caption of the video.
