Watch: Dance Battle Turns Into Wrestling Arena Within Seconds

Often dance battles are a great way to show off one’s dance skills and promote healthy competition among all. However, now a video is going viral that shows a dance battle turning into a fight. The clip shows a dancer stepping inside a dance circle and proceeding to jump on his opponent. The opponent retaliates and the first dancer slaps him. Suddenly, other people come between them and try to stop the fight but not before the second dancer slaps the person who initiated the fight. The video has raked in over one lakh views, and hundreds of likes.

Commenting on it, an X user wrote, “Hahahah…dance battle or slap battle??” Another person wrote, “Yo that last slap was necessary.” “That revenge slap was satisfying,” wrote the last one.

However, not all dance battles turn ugly. In December 2022, a video from the Sumner High School, a public school in Florida, USA went viral that showed an eight grader and a teacher playfully engaging in a dance battle. This video was posted online by Natalie McClain, the Assistant Principal at the school. While sharing this video, she wrote, “Our 8th grade Stingrays having a well deserved exam dance break. Of course our teachers are ending 2022 with a win. Love my Stingrays Happy Holidays.”

This clip gathered over 31,000 likes. Commenting on this an X user joked, “A word to the youth. Never dance and challenge the teacher with the biggest earrings in the building. She’s spent at least two of your lifetimes being cooler than you.” Another person wrote, “Left teaching because the praise and the recognition didn’t pay our bills.. this is cool to see tho.. great dance moves”.

Back in March 2022, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger tried to make ‘slapping’ an official sport after he introduced the Slap Fighting Championship at the famous Arnold Sports Festival. The championship was hosted by popular YouTuber and professional boxer Logan Paul. It was streamed on Fanmio and Paul’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. On Paul’s YouTube channel, more than 28 lakh people tuned in to watch the slap championship.

In the three-part contest, two competitors had to face each other and slap their opponent for 30 seconds. The one who remained unfazed after 30 seconds of slapping got a point. The contest was divided between male and female categories. Dawid “Zales” Zalewski won in the men’s category while Adrianna Sledz won in the women’s category.
