Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina, an army veteran, recently earned the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the most tattooed female in the world. After a decade of dedication, she has covered 99.98% of her body with ink and has no plans of stopping. Her journey began at 21 with a tattoo on her hip and she has also earned GWR for most body modifications by a female. Esperance’s collection includes tattoos on her scalp, feet, eyelids, eyeballs, gums and tongue. Her first body modification was a split tongue in 2014, followed by five facial implants and numerous piercings. With 89 body modifications, she has now surpassed the previous record held by Maria Jose Cristerna, who had 49 alterations in 2012.
Talking about her latest achievement, Esperance told GWR, “I feel both honoured and surprised about joining the Guinness World Records family. I grew up admiring the Guinness World Records books and record holders as a child and I am blown away to be featured in one now. I am so grateful. I was initially a little apprehensive, but I wanted to try to showcase the strength of women, and what’s possible, by applying for the record myself.”

Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “Is this even human being.”
Another shared, “The other day I heard that someone or something escaped from area 51.”
“I mean this is a little weird but it doesn’t hurt anyone so I hope they have fun and not regret this,” a comment read.
A person noted, “Imagine you trying to look like what will scare people and you want them to accept it.”
An individual shared, “Congratulations dude. Nothing but love, so proud of you.”
One more added, “It’s her body she will do whatever she wants. 0 harm caused, she didn’t force you, she didn’t torture you to get tattoos, basically she’s happy the way she is.”
Esperance Lumineska Fuerzina believes that her time in the army influenced her towards body art. She looks at each of her tattoo as a permanent piece of art and allows artists a lot of creative freedom while designing. Although she does some of her own tattooing, she focuses on improving her overall design and surprisingly, she doesn’t have a favorite tattoo yet.
The army veteran hints that she might break more records in the future. While she’s focused on records related to tattoos and body modifications, she also has a secret project in mind that could become a different kind of record. For now, she’s already busy planning her next tattoo.
