90-Ft Statue Of Lord Hanuman Unveiled In Texas’ Sugar Land Is US’ Third Tallest
The statue, known as the Statue of Union, is located at Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land.

A 90-ft statue of Lord Hanuman was unveiled in Texas this week. The statue, named the Statue of Union, is the third tallest statue in the US, according to a report by the Times Of India. The statue is located in Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land, Texas.

The newspaper said that the statue was the vision of Chinna Jeeyar Swami and was named Statue of Union to commemorate the fact that he united Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.

There is another statue of Lord Hanuman in Delaware which is 25-ft long and was installed in 2020. That statue was shipped from Telangana’s Warangal, the Times Of India said.

“The Statue of Union will be North America’s tallest statue of Lord Hanuman, an embodiment of strength, devotion, and selfless service. Hanuman united Sri Rama with Sita and hence the name, Statue of Union,” the website for the statue said in a statement.

“The project in its entirety is the vision of His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. This is an opportunity for us as a community to etch a path for future generations to seek the divine blessings of Lord Hanuman,” the statement further added.
