The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated the construction on NH-48. The work will remain operational for a few days. It will cause inconvenience to commuters who are planning to travel from Gurgaon to Delhi.
The Gurgaon traffic police have issued an advisory, informing the public about the traffic conditions on the route. They have even suggested travelers avoid the route or take alternative ones for a few days.
Here’s What Traffic Police Says
While informing about the traffic situation on the Gurgaon-Delhi route, the traffic police tweeted that reads, “Traffic will remain affected for 3-4 days on NH-48 in the carriageway from Gurugram towards Delhi as service road on NH-48 going from Shiv Murti towards Rangpuri has been closed due to ongoing work being carried out by NHAI.”

Meanwhile, it has been six months since the NHAI is putting efforts to stretch the 121 km long NH 48 between Dahisar and Achhad near the Gujarat border. The management even closed off the one lane from both sides in December to push the work further.
